Dadi Prakashmani, the founder was born in 1922 in Hyderabad in Sindh
province. In 1950, she left Pakistan and came to Mount Abu where she
set up Madhuban, the head quarters of the sect. In 1969, Dadi

other 80 countries.
Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya is, in many
ways, a University with a difference. Whereas most other
universities enable a person to attain a Master's Degree in one of
the arts or sciences or to become a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.),
this University enables him to be the master of his own thoughts,
desires, emotions and sense-organs and to be a doctor, so to say, of
the philosophy- of - life so that he can lead a healthy and happy
life.
RAJA YOGA - can be defined in a number of ways. The word "Yoga"
simply means "Union", and the word "Raja" means "Supreme", "King" or
"Master". Raja Yoga is the king of all yogas because through it one
can become sovereign. Through the teachings of Raja Yoga, the soul
is able to achieve its natural state of peace very easily.
There are various wings which undertake different courses as
